I bought this for a wedding and thought I'd probably only wear it once. Three weeks later I'm wearing it to dinner
Mine arrived with a few creases from being folded up. Left it hanging overnight and it looked much better the next morning. Fit is good, although I think it would benefit from being steamed before wearing

Good blazer overall. The sleeves were slightly long on me but the fit through the body was good👌

Present from my girlfriend. I would never have bought a check jacket. I now wear it more than my plain ones
Structured enough to look like tailoring. Soft enough to wear all day. That balance is hard to get and this gets it
Alan Whitworth
Brown / L
Wore it to the cinema and then to a bar. Nobody looks twice at a blazer in a bar anymore. Which is good
Fits my dad who is eighty and a bit stooped. The cut works with how he stands rather than against it. He is pleased
Wore the grey to a job interview and the brown to the leaving do at the old place. Both jackets did what they needed to
Grey with a black roll neck and black jeans. Simple. Sharp. Done
Looks like it cost a lot more than it did. My brother asked which shop and did not believe me
Bought for a wedding in October. Wore it over a jumper on the day because it was cold and it still looked smart. That flexibility is why I keep reaching for it
The inside pockets are on both sides which is not always the case at this price. Phone one side wallet the other
Sleeve length is spot on for me at 6ft 1 in the large. Shirt cuff shows just enough
Went for the brown because I wear a lot of blue and it works. Blue jeans blue shirt brown jacket. Easy
Perfect for the theatre. Smart enough for the stalls and comfortable enough to sit in for three hours
Christmas do at work. Everyone in shirts. Me in this. Won the night
Bought it because a mate had one. Now his mate has one. It is spreading
Nice weight of fabric. Feels like it will last more than one season. Sleeve lining is a bit slippery so a shirt cuff can ride up when you pull it on. Minor
Got the grey for a friends wedding in the spring. Light enough for a warm day and smart enough for the photos
My wife picked the brown for me. I would have gone grey. She was right. I have since bought the grey too
The two button front is the right choice. Three buttons would have made it look old fashioned
Looks good with a flat cap. Looks good without one. Either way it looks like I made an effort
Bought the grey for my dad who is hard to buy for. He wore it to the bowling club dinner and got compliments which he pretended not to enjoy
Bought for a fiftieth birthday party. Now I wear it to Sunday lunch. Cost per wear is dropping every week
Wore it to the races with a shirt and tie and it held its own next to people in proper tailoring
Easy to dress up and dress down. Tie for the meeting off for the pub
Wore it with cords in the brown and looked like a geography teacher in the best way
Fits over a shirt and waistcoat in the size up. Three piece look for the price of one
Fits under a coat without bunching which matters in January
Smart. Comfortable. Cheap. Pick three
The check is smart enough that I wore it to a court appearance as a witness and felt right
Solid stitching on the seams. Had a good look inside and nothing loose
Got it for a wedding abroad. Packed it flat. Hung it up. Wore it. No iron needed
Got it for an award do and wore it with a black shirt. Photos came out well
The grey is a proper mid grey and not silver. Works with navy trousers and with black
Bought for my husband for our anniversary dinner. He wore it and then wore it again the next weekend and the one after
Bought the brown then went back for the grey a month later. Wear one or the other most days now
Bought it to wear to my daughters wedding as a not the father of the bride option. She approved. That is the only review that matters
Mid weight is honest. I have worn it in October wind with a shirt and been fine and worn it indoors in April without cooking
The check is smaller than it looks in the photos. From across the room it reads as a plain brown and up close you see the pattern. I like that
Enough pockets to leave the bag at home. Phone inside left. Keys outside right. Wallet inside right. Sorted
Comfortable enough to eat a three course meal in without wanting to take it off
Looks smart with trainers which was the whole point. Tailoring without the fuss
This is the jacket I put on when I do not know what to put on
Wore it for a photo for a work profile and it made me look like I know what I am doing
Went a size up and it is roomy over a shirt and right over a knit. Exactly what the listing says
Fits my son who is fifteen and slim. Got him the extra small and it is actually small. Rare
My teenage son wore it to prom. Now he wears it to town. That is money well spent
Went with the grey because I already had a brown coat. Good call. It is the one I reach for
Bought it for my son for his sixth form leavers and he has kept wearing it. That never happens with anything I choose for him
Mid weight is about right. Warm enough for October with a shirt and not too much for a heated restaurant
Bought for a trip to Rome. Walked around in it all day and ate dinner in it. Did both without complaint
The brown check reads as neutral from a distance. It is only a pattern up close. Easy to wear
Nice length. Covers the bum without hanging down to the thighs like some cheaper blazers
Went up a size for a roll neck underneath and it works. Fits properly over a shirt too with a bit more room. Happy either way
Good quality lining. Slippery in the right way. Jacket goes on over a shirt without any fuss
Good shoulders. The shoulder seam sits where my shoulder actually ends
Smart enough that I got upgraded to a better table at a restaurant. Might be coincidence. I will keep wearing it either way
Fits my slim build in a medium without looking like a boxy hire jacket
Bought two sizes to compare and sent one back. Kept the size up. Fits over a jumper with room and still looks fitted over a shirt
Wore it to my cousins wedding over a white tee and jeans and got more comments than the groom. Brown check with dark denim is a good combination
Looks more expensive than it is. Feels more expensive than it is. Cost thirty eight pounds
The grey with a white shirt and jeans is the easiest smart outfit I own now
Solid jacket. Wore it to a wedding as a guest and did not feel underdressed next to the suits
Good for a bloke who does not wear jackets. That is me. I now wear a jacket
Nice jacket. Sleeves are a touch long on me so I have them turned back once which works with the lining showing. Would rather they were half an inch shorter but I am fussy
Brown blazer with cream chinos and I look like I am on holiday in the south of France. I am in Stockport
I wear it over a black t-shirt and black jeans and it makes an outfit out of nothing
The brown goes with more than I thought. Navy. Black. Cream. Denim. Nothing it clashes with so far
Went for the brown as I am ginger and grey washes me out. Right choice. It warms everything up
My husband has three of these now. Two brown one grey. He says one is for best. I do not know which
Graduation. Brown blazer, white shirt, no tie. Looked like the pictures I wanted to look like
Pockets pockets pockets. I hate carrying a bag and this means I do not have to
Wore it on my first day at a new job. Nobody knew it cost less than the sandwich I had for lunch
Sits nicely over a shirt with the collar out. Did not need a tie to look finished
Lining is smooth so it slides on over a shirt without dragging. Sounds small but it is the difference between a jacket you wear and one you leave on the hook
Got this for a school reunion and did not want to look like I was trying. It sits in that gap between casual and smart perfectly
Sixty quid in the sale elsewhere for something similar and this was £38 and I cannot tell the difference
Very light for a jacket with a full lining. Forgot I had it on by the end of the evening
Exterior pockets are real pockets and not stitched shut for show. Used them from day one
First blazer I have owned. Did not know what I was doing with sizes so I went up one like the page said and it fits over a jumper with room to move
Good blazer. The check is a touch busier than I expected in daylight. In the evening it is perfect. I would say it is more of an evening jacket for me
Looks like the sort of thing you see in a shop window and walk past because of the price. This was £38
I am 5ft 6 and jackets usually swamp me. The small in this is a proper small. First one in ages that does not look borrowed
Comfortable straight away. No stiff breaking in period. Wore it the day it arrived
Wore it to my nieces wedding then my dads seventieth then a work thing. Three events one jacket and nobody noticed it was the same one
Lining makes it easy to layer. Slides over a jumper without fighting it
The houndstooth is subtle enough to wear to work without anyone thinking I am dressed for the races
Buttoned it does the tailored thing. Open it does the relaxed thing. Same jacket two looks
Looks like a proper blazer and not a costume. That is the trick with houndstooth and this gets it right
Christening on Sunday. Pub quiz on Tuesday. Same jacket both times and it looked right both times
I have had it two months and worn it maybe twenty times. Still looks new. Seams fine. Buttons tight
The brown has a bit of rust in the check when you get close. Photos show it as flatter than it is. Nicer in person
Comfortable to drive in which most blazers are not. Room across the back when your arms are forward
Wore it three days running on a work trip and it did not crease in the case between hotels
Wore it to my mates fortieth. Now three of us have one. It is becoming a uniform
My partner bought me the grey and I liked it enough to buy myself the brown. Two blazers for the price of a shirt elsewhere
Bought two. One for me one for my brother for his birthday. He wore his to the birthday
Mid weight is perfect for spring. Enough to keep the wind off and not so much that I am sweating on the train
My wife bought it for me and told me to wear it to her work Christmas party. I did. Her boss asked where it was from
My son is at that age where he wants to look smart but not like his dad. This works for him. He is sixteen and wearing a blazer by choice
Ordered a size up as told and it fits over a fine knit. Would have been snug in my usual size. Listen to the page
Surprisingly good pockets for keeping hands warm in when you are stood outside a pub in October
The two button closure sits nicely done up. Not straining not loose. Just right in the size up
Good jacket for the money. The buttons feel a bit light compared to the rest of it. I might swap them for horn ones at some point
Fits like it was made for me and I am an awkward shape. Long arms short body. The large works
Wore it to a garden party in May over a linen shirt and it was fine in the sun. Mid weight is honest
Fits the shoulders which is the bit that never fits me. Everything else can be adjusted but shoulders cannot and these are right
Bought this and a pair of chinos and now I have an outfit that works for anything from a meeting to a date. Cheapest I have ever solved that problem
Bought it for a work presentation. Wore it over a plain shirt. Got asked where it was from twice
Buttons up without pulling across the chest in the size up. Sits flat
Nice jacket. One of the inside pockets on mine was tacked shut and I had to snip the thread. Common on new jackets but worth knowing so you do not think it is missing
Wore it to a parents evening and the teachers were nicer to me. Could be coincidence
Wore it to a funeral in the grey. Respectful without being a suit. Right for the day
I do not usually write reviews but this is the best £38 I have spent on clothes in a long time and I wanted to say so
Smart casual for a work do and I finally understood what that phrase means
Got it for a family photo. Everyone else in jumpers. I look like the one who has his life together
Bought for a christening. It has since done a wedding and two dinners. Cost per wear is nothing now
Lovely jacket for the money. I would say the brown is more of a light brown than a dark one so if you want something close to chocolate it is not that. Still very wearable
My brother in law borrowed it for an interview and now he has ordered his own
I had one blazer for ten years and it finally died. This has replaced it and I think it might last as long
Good jacket. Good price. Bought a second in the other colour
My dad is seventy eight and still likes to dress properly. Got him the brown for his birthday and he has worn it to church every Sunday since
Sits nicely on a smaller frame. The extra small is properly small and not just a medium with a different label
The jacket itself is good and I do like it but mine arrived with a small pull in the lining near the inside pocket. Not visible from the outside so I have kept it rather than go through the hassle of a return. Would have been five stars without that
The check hides a multitude. Spilt a bit of red wine on it and you cannot see it
Took it out of the bag and the creases dropped out after a night on a hanger. Ready to wear by the morning
The grey goes with brown shoes and black shoes. That settles a lot of arguments in the morning
Fabric has a bit of body to it. Not thin and not stiff. Holds its shape on a hanger and on me
Full lining and it still folds into a case without turning into a sack of creases
Ordered the grey for a wedding where I did not want to be in navy like everyone else. Stood out for the right reasons
Grey blazer white shirt dark jeans brown shoes. Every man should have that outfit and now I do for under fifty quid
Really like it. It does run slim through the body so the size up advice is not optional if you have any middle on you. Went up and it fits well
I am 2XL and jackets in my size usually look like tents. This is cut like the smaller sizes just bigger. Finally
Wore it to a funeral in the grey with a black shirt and it was right for the day without being a suit
Full lining means it goes on and off easily and the sleeves do not bunch up your shirt underneath
Fit is good and the lining is nice. It does pick up fluff from a dark jumper more than a plain fabric would. Lint roller sorts it
I wanted a jacket I could throw on over a t-shirt and not think about. This is that jacket
The two buttons sit at the right height for me. Some blazers button too low and make you look short. This does not
Race day at Cheltenham with a flat cap and this jacket. Looked the part without spending the part
Check pattern lines up across the front seams which is not something I expected at this price
Inside pocket is deep enough for a phone without it sticking out the top. Checked before I bought and it was fine
Wore it to a wake and then to the pub with the family after. It did not look out of place at either
It hangs right. That is the thing with cheap blazers. They do not hang right. This one does
The brown check with a burgundy knit underneath is my autumn look now. Whole outfit under a hundred quid
Sleeves are lined so the jacket goes on over a long sleeve shirt without the sleeve riding up. Good detail
The brown is warmer in tone than the photo. More of a tobacco than a chocolate. Suits me better than I thought
Bought for a job interview and got the job. I am not saying the jacket did it but it did not hurt
Date night jacket. Did its job
The brown is the colour of a good pair of boots which is exactly why it goes with a good pair of boots
Sharp with jeans. That is all I wanted from it and that is what it does
Bought for my grandson starting uni. He says the girls like it. I will take his word for that
Good jacket. Wears well over a shirt. Only thing is the outside pockets sag a bit if you keep your phone in them. Use the inside ones
I am a teacher and this is now the jacket for parents evenings and open days. Smart without looking like I am trying to sell them something
It is a nice jacket and I do wear it but the fit through the waist is more tailored than I expected even in the size up. If you carry weight round the middle I would say try it on with the bottom button open. That is how I wear it and it looks good like that
Good jacket. The grey is a shade darker than the website shows on my screen. Still a nice colour and I am keeping it but worth mentioning
First smart jacket in fifteen years. Wore it to my brothers wedding and felt like a grown up
Good jacket for the shoulder season. Not warm enough for deep winter but that is not what it is for
Worn it every Friday for two months. Colleagues have started calling it the Friday jacket
My husband is not a jacket man. He wore this to a christening and then to the pub after and then asked if it comes in the grey too
Fabric has a nice hand to it. Not scratchy against the neck when worn over a tee
The check is classic. Nobody is going to look at this in five years and think it dated
Full lining. Real pockets. Proper lapels. At £38 I expected one of the three not all of them
Wore it on a plane and it came out the other end looking fine. That is my test for a jacket
My wife says it makes me look like I have a job in London. I do not. I like it though
Nice looking jacket but the size I ordered was tight across the back even though I went up like the page said. I am broad in the shoulder so it may be me. Wearing it open rather than buttoned and it looks fine like that
Notch lapels sit flat and do not curl up which is the thing I check on cheaper jackets. These lie properly
Sits well over a shirt and tie for a meeting and just as well over a tee for the pub after
Two-button front with the top one done up and the bottom left open and it hangs just right. Whoever cut this knew what they were doing
The lapels are the right width. Not skinny and not wide. Just a proper lapel
Ordered Monday. Arrived Wednesday. Wore it Friday. Good week
Lining is a plain dark colour so it does not look cheap when you take it off and hang it on a chair
