I am 5ft 11 and about 15 stone and I am usually an XL in shirts. The guide said go down if you are between sizes so I took the L and it was the right call. Relaxed through the body without hanging off me and it still buttons up properly for lunch out. It is soft straight from the packet which I did not believe from the photos. Chest pocket takes my reading glasses. Navy is a proper navy. Not been through the wash yet

Took it to Cornwall for a week in September. Open over a tee on the beach in the day and buttoned up for the restaurant at night and it did both without me thinking about it. It creases a bit in the case but the washed look means you cannot really tell and I did not pack an iron. Wife says it is the first shirt I have bought in ten years that she likes so it will be coming to Portugal as well

Took my usual XL and it is big on me. The page says go down if you like it neater and I should have listened. It is a nice soft shirt and the colour is good so I wear it open over a tee where the size does not matter as much but buttoned up it looks borrowed

Bought this for my husband who will not buy anything for himself and would wear the same two polos until they fell apart. He is 6ft 2 and about 17 stone and the XXL fits him with room across the middle without looking like a tent. He wore it to our grandson's christening with the sleeves rolled and got asked where it was from which never happens to him. I am ordering the navy next while he is not looking
Sleeves are long on me at 5ft 8 but I roll them anyway so it does not bother me much. Fit through the body is good and the fabric is as soft as it says

I am an L and they are XL and XXL and all three fit the way the chart said which surprised me as we are very different shapes.
